He Knows What Is Best

The Lord knows what He is doing. The One who made all things hears the cries of His servants. The One who made the eye sees, the One who made the ear hears, the One who made the mouth speaks, and the One who created the universe with a word will act.

“At the right time, I, the LORD, will make it happen.” Isaiah 60:22

He has great purpose and wonders in store for those disciplined by His hand and great wrath prepared for those who disobey His commands. Be sure that the wicked will not go unpunished. He is doing something that no one could imagine through it all. He is causing gifts to be poured out on His servants due to their endurance through pain, hardship, and false accusations. Though you may be enduring much for His call, it will be worth it all.

Don’t think that discipline is wrong because it increases faith; faith brings maturity; maturity develops confidence in the Lord. Then confidence in the Lord instills determination for godly pursuits. It will set your eye on His will when you focus on the Lord Jesus Christ. Then, as scripture says, you will put your hand on the plow to do His work, and you will not look back or listen to any other voice because you are worthy of the Kingdom of God.

Please understand that if God did not allow the pressing for training, you would not have been prepared for what was ahead. If He did not discipline and beat you, you would not have been purged from your sin. But because of His loving discipline, you will grow, mature, and develop great strength over evil, in Jesus’ name.

Blessed is the one whom God corrects, so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty. For He wounds, but He also binds up; He injures, but His hands also heal. Job 5:17-18

Followers of Christ, wait upon Him and leave vengeance against the wicked to God. He will pay them back for all their wickedness. Their day is coming. They will get their just retribution, in the end, all according to His will and plan. When it happens, they will be no more. But the righteous will shine forever.

Keep seeking the Lord, keep honoring Him, and worshiping Him. Keep pressing on to the upward goal set by the Father with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. He will keep you safe, guide you, and provide for you every step of the way. “For the Lord will not forsake His people.”

O Lord, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked exult? They pour out their arrogant words; all the evildoers boast. They crush your people, O Lord, and afflict your heritage. They kill the widow and the sojourner and murder the fatherless, and they say, “The Lord does not see; the God of Jacob does not perceive.”

Understand, O dullest of the people! Fools, when will you be wise? He who planted the ear, does He not hear? He who formed the eye, does He not see? He who disciplines the nations, does He not rebuke? He who teaches man knowledge, the Lord knows the thoughts of man, that they are but a breath. Blessed is the man whom you discipline, O Lord, and whom you teach out of your law, to give him rest from days of trouble until a pit is dug for the wicked. For the Lord will not forsake His people; He will not abandon His heritage; for justice will return to the righteous, and all the upright in heart will follow it. Psalm 94:3-15
