The Lord Will Rescue

The Lord God is from everlasting to everlasting. He rules and reigns over all things. There is no one like Him. He is higher than the heavens, deeper than the ocean, and more vast than the expanses of space. Yes, nothing escapes His notice or goes forth without His approval. He even allows everything that happens on earth to fulfill His plan. Therefore, the devil and those who accomplish wickedness will not get away with anything. No matter how it may look now.

Those of crooked heart are an abomination to the LORD, but those of blameless ways are His delight. Be assured an evil person will not go unpunished, but the offspring of the righteous will be delivered. Proverbs 11:20-21

God has created, and He will destroy. He makes the final decision. No one will tell Him which way to go or how things will play out. His plan is already established and will not be changed. A reward is waiting for the righteous and faithful for what they have sacrificed for His kingdom. But the wicked will be destroyed and punished forever for refusing to obey His Word.

God sees all things, hears all things, knows all things, and understands all things. His hands stretched out the heavens and arranged the stars and galaxies like a myriad of beautiful tapestries hung on the walls of a king’s palace. Can you imagine how great He is to create the entire universe with a word? There is no one greater than the Lord God Almighty. Therefore, put your complete faith and trust in Him, for He is trustworthy.

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims His handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard. Their voice goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them, He has set a tent for the sun, Psalm 19:1-4

Though your body may fail and your countenance may fall, keep your eyes on the Lord. He is the one who will reach down and rescue. He will deliver and raise the righteous with strength and power. He will cause you to succeed when there seems to be no way to victory. He does His best work when we are humble, turning our weakness into strength, failure into victory, and an underdog into a champion.

Praise Him, for He is good. Praise Him, for He is your hope, strength, and source of joy. In every situation and every trial, He is in control. He works all things out for the good of those who are His. So no matter where you are, no matter your lot, rest in Him, be content in everything, and praise Him in the middle of the storm. For His purposes are perfect, and His ways are true. Therefore, He will work all things out for good for His righteous, humble, and chosen people.

“To whom then will you compare me, that I should be like him? says the Holy One. Lift up your eyes on high and see: who created these? He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name; by the greatness of His might and because He is strong in power, not one is missing. Why do you say, O Jacob, and speak, O Israel, “My way is hidden from the LORD, and my right is disregarded by my God”?

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might, He increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted, but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:25-31
