He has chosen His children, loves them with everlasting love, and will redeem them wherever they may be. Though they have suffered, been oppressed, and storm-tossed, He will come and rescue them. He will take them on the path He has chosen, to where He has been preparing for them to go. At that appointed time He will come and do for them what He has promised, and will not delay.
For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay. Habakkuk 2:3
He has given them eyes to see, ears to hear, minds to understand, and hearts that will obey. He sees all things, knows all things, understands all things, and His plan and purpose for all who are His are good and perfectly timed. Even when it seems it is taking too long, He has a purpose for that too.
He surrounds them with His angels. Keeping them safe from all who seek to harm them. Nothing will come upon them that has not been ordained. God will use everything for their growth and refinement. Though it has been an uphill battle and the hardships have been many, He is faithful. He will accomplish all that He has set into motion and in the end, they will rejoice with joy.
“Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.”
So if you are one of God’s children, these promises of protection and redemption are for you too. Remember the truth of His words when He says,
But now thus says the Lord, He who created you, O Jacob, He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I give Egypt as your ransom, Cush, and Seba in exchange for you.
Because you are precious in my eyes and honored, and I love you, I give men in return for you, peoples in exchange for your life. Bring out the people who are blind, yet have eyes, who are deaf, yet have ears! All the nations gather together, and the peoples assemble. Who among them can declare this, and show us the former things? Let them bring their witnesses to prove them right, and let them hear and say, It is true.
“You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord, “and my servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe me and understand that I am He. Before me no god was formed, nor shall there be any after me. I, I am the Lord, and besides me there is no savior. Isaiah 43:1-4,8-11
