The Lord will bless the righteous, upright, and blameless. He will deliver those He loves and rescue those who are His. He will not let them fall away or be abandoned. Remember you are never alone.
If His rescue seems to be postponed. Do not be afraid. Wait upon the Lord your God, for He knows the times and seasons of all things. His timing and plan for you are perfect. If deliverance seems delayed, it is not delayed but right on time, His time. He is doing the work backstage that is necessary for His plan to be fulfilled.
But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you. 2 Peter 3:8-9
Great and wonderful are His preparations and protection. He has made promises and He will keep them. He is righteous, holy, and faithful to do it. Wait upon Him, trust Him, lean on Him, knowing with full assurance that He will fulfill everyone.
The wicked on the other hand may seem to rule. They may seem to have the upper hand. They shout crow and wring their deceitful little hands. They plan mischief, villainy, and depravity. Desiring to pour out their wicked plans to capture the weak soul and steal all that they can for themselves. But their thoughts of victory could not be further from the truth.
Their wrongdoing will not go unpunished. Their fall draws ever closer and it will not be delayed when their time is up. Great will be the crash of their downfall. The Lord will pour out His vengeance on them and they will not be able to flee from their punishment. Before you know it they will be gone and you will hear of them no longer.
In just a little while, the wicked will be no more; though you look carefully at his place, he will not be there. Psalm 37:10
Rejoice in the Lord you saints. Rejoice, for the Lord loves you with everlasting love. Rejoice, for your God reigns. Rejoice, for your time is coming by the hand of the Lord all those who have done great evil will fall. But the reward of the righteous in the face of persecution will be wonderful. The fall of the wicked will be great, but the rule of the Lord will be far greater.
The Lord knows the days of the blameless, and their heritage will remain forever; they are not put to shame in evil times; in the days of famine, they have abundance. But the wicked will perish; the enemies of the Lord are like the glory of the pastures; they vanish—like smoke, they vanish away. The wicked borrows but does not pay back, but the righteous is generous and gives; for those blessed by the Lord shall inherit the land, but those cursed by Him shall be cut off.
The steps of a man are established by the Lord when he delights in His way; though he falls, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand. For the Lord loves justice; He will not forsake His saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off. The righteous shall inherit the land and dwell upon it forever. Psalms 37:18-24, 28-29
