The Lord Loves The Righteous

The Lord will bless the righteous, upright, and blameless. He will deliver those He loves and rescue those who are His. He will not let them fall away or be abandoned. You are not alone!

If His rescue and delivery seem to be postponed, be not afraid, wait upon the Lord your God, for He knows the times and seasons of all things. His timing and care for you are perfect.

If deliverance seems delayed, He is doing a work in the background that is most necessary. Great and wonderful are His preparation, protection, and propulsion. He has made a promise, He is righteous, holy, and faithful. He will do it! Wait upon Him, trust Him, lean on Him, knowing with full assurity that He will keep His promise!

The wicked on the other hand may seem to rule. They shout crow and wring their deceitful little hands. They plan mischief, devising villainy, and hatching depravity. Desiring to pour out their wicked plans to capture the weak soul and steal all that they can.

But their wrong-doing will not go unpunished, their fall draws ever closer, and it will not be delayed. Great will be the crash of their downfall and they will not escape. The Lord will pour out His vengeance on them and they will not be able to flee from their punishment. Before you know it they will be gone and you will hear of them no more.

Rejoice in the Lord you saints! Rejoice for the Lord loves you with an everlasting love! Rejoice for your God reigns! Rejoice for your time is coming by the hand of the Lord. Your reward for all the good and righteous deeds you have performed in the sight of your Lord will be great!

Psalms 37:18-24, 28-29

18 The Lord knows the days of the blameless, and their heritage will remain forever; 19 they are not put to shame in evil times; in the days of famine they have abundance.

20 But the wicked will perish; the enemies of the Lord are like the glory of the pastures; they vanish—like smoke they vanish away. 21 The wicked borrows but does not pay back, but the righteous is generous and gives; 22 for those blessed by the Lord shall inherit the land, but those cursed by him shall be cut off.

23 The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way; 24 though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand.

28 For the Lord loves justice; he will not forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off. 29 The righteous shall inherit the land and dwell upon it forever.
