A God You Can Trust

The Lord is able to meet your every need. He owns all that you can see with the eye and everything else that you can not. He has created it all, controls it all, and holds all things together.

But many times He chooses to concentrate His power and His all-encompassing riches into forming you to His image. This is why He allows suffering, tests, trials, and pain. There are many lessons to be learned. I can only speak for myself, there is a whole lot of work to be done. He has a lot of work He wants to do in you as well.

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. Philippians 2:12-13

God surely is for you and with you my dear Brothers and Sisters. Even though at times the chastisement and discipline are incredibly crushing and you may feel it is the end. But remember the Lord has a great purpose for your pain. Great strength, wisdom, and understanding are born out of adversity and pain.

You may fear that the Lord has passed you by, but it is not so: He who counts the stars, and calls them by their names, is in no danger of forgetting His own children. He knows your case as thoroughly as if you were the only creature He ever made, or the only saint He ever loved. Approach Him and be at peace. Charles Spurgeon

In good and joyous times He is with you, through the normal day-to-day struggles He is there, and during the times of struggle, hardship, and painful times He is working so very close to your side, though you may not know it.

The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous and His ears toward their cry. The face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth. When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Psalms 34:15-18

Never does He leave you or forsake you, never does He waste a moment to teach, correct, and instruct you. To do the miraculous work of molding, shaping, and crafting you into His image.

Always, His mind is fixed upon you. Consistently is His hand upon you to make you into what you should be, unfailingly He performs His work to craft you into exactly what He always intended. What He created you to be. He knows what is right, good, and best for you.

See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason, the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. 1 John 3:1-3

Yes, He loves you this much. In the ups and downs of life, in the rising and falling, and on the mountain tops of joy, we celebrate His faithfulness. Even in the darkness of the valley, you can know that He is there with you. Give Him praise even in the hardest of times. Because He is using that for your good and His glory. He will give you a song of praise within your heart and a feeling of joy, peace, and rest for your soul just at the right time to help you along the way.

For, He is a good Father. He does everything well, never making even one mistake or misstep. Compassionate, caring, and loving forever more towards His children in everything He does.

That is a God you can lean on. That is a God you can put your complete faith in. That is a God you can trust with every ounce of strength you can muster for all eternity. Put your faith in Him completely and devote yourself to His will. He will lead and guide you in the right way to go. He will keep you safe and give you rest from your worry. He is in control.

For this reason, I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of His glory He may grant you to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner being,

so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21
