The Coming One Will Come

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:8

The Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon. He is the one foretold from days of old. He will come with a rod of iron to rule and reign over all things. All mankind will bow before Him and will be in subjection to His command. When that time comes, there will be no stopping it. There will be no one that will hold Him back. No one will be able to say one thing against Him or do anything to thwart His plan. For the Lord has declared it and it will be done.

“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

There shall come forth a shoot from the stump of Jesse, and a branch from his roots shall bear fruit. And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD.  Isaiah 11:1-2

Jesus Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords, and in power and glory, He reigns. With the power of His Word and the breath of His mouth, He will destroy the wicked and ruin the plans of the crafty and deceitful. He will judge both the good and the evil, giving them what they have earned. There will be no questioning or arguing, but complete submission to Him.

And His delight shall be in the fear of the LORD. He shall not judge by what His eyes see, or decide disputes by what His ears hear, but with righteousness, He shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth; and He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips He shall kill the wicked. Righteousness shall be the belt of His waist, and faithfulness the belt of His loins. Isaiah 11:3-5

Turn from your wicked and wayward ways now. Turn today from the crooked path you have been following, doing your own thing, and pleasing your own desires. Turn to the Lord Jesus, repent, believe the Gospel, and be saved. Do this today before it is too late.
