Be still, oh my soul, be still my heart, and do not fear or tremble. Fear not, for the Lord is a redeemer. Worry not, for the Lord is an overcomer. Tremble not, for the Lord is a conquer. Stagger not, for the Lord is a sustainer. He has called you by name and declared you His own.
Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted in the earth! Psalm 46:10
The Lord, your God, is in complete control; though you will go through trials, tribulations, pains, sorrows, and afflictions, God will never leave your side. He is with you and holds you in the palm of His hand. Therefore, turn from your worries and trust Him.
But now thus says the LORD, He who created you, O Jacob, He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.” Isaiah 43:1-3
Your God goes before you, walks beside you, and surrounds you with His love. Keep this in mind, and remember it. Your life is not your own but His, and no one can take it unless the Lord commands it. He loves you for your sacrifice for Him and holds authority over your life, just as the Father loves Jesus. No harm comes to His beloved unless He allows it for His purposes.
Jesus said, “For this reason, the Father loves me because I lay down my life that I may take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from my Father.” John 10:17-18
Hold fast to Him, keep your eyes fixed upon Him, and trust Him entirely. He will fight your battles; you need only equip yourself with what He has given for your defense. He is the Word, the bread of life that will sustain you. So equip yourself with His armor, pick up your sword of His Spirit and the shield for your faith, and forge into battle, knowing He is with you. Pray to the Lord for strength, wisdom, and understanding in all things, and He promises to give you what you need.
I will go before you and level the exalted places, I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron, I will give you the treasures of darkness and the hoards in secret places, that you may know that it is I, the LORD, the God of Israel, who call you by your name. For the sake of my servant Jacob, and Israel my chosen, I call you by your name, I name you, though you do not know me. I am the LORD, and there is no other, besides me, there is no God; Isaiah 45:2-5
He is with you; He is for you. He cares for you and loves you. He has never left you, will never leave you, and His immense power and boundless authority will protect you. So trust in the Lord and wait upon Him. He never fails. Focus on Him and His direction; He will never lead you astray.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones. Proverbs 3:5-8
There is a purpose and a plan in every hardship, struggle, and pain. Remember, He always works everything out for good for those called by His name, for His glory and praise.
