Nothing Is Impossible For The Lord

How big is your faith? God created the entire Universe with a “Word.” Do you believe this? Can you imagine the Universe jumping into existence with a single word from Jesus? He also walked on water as if it were solid ground. There is nothing impossible for Him.

Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me? Jeremiah 32:27

Because I believe this one thing, that nothing is impossible for Him, I know God will accomplish everything for His people according to His perfect will. He can and will do what He has promised. He can rescue, heal, restore, rebuild, love, comfort, encourage, help, bind up, deliver, embolden, strengthen, enable, protect, shield, and so much more for His servants. The list of all the great things Jesus has done and will do is too long to mention. We could never write them all down, all the things He does for His beloved children.

For though the LORD is high, He regards the lowly, but the haughty He knows from afar. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me. The LORD will fulfill His purpose for me; your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands. Psalm 138:6-8

Are you keeping your eyes on Jesus? The author and perfecter of your Faith. He is already walking on top of the water. He is doing what seems impossible. He is already preparing a table for you in the presence of your enemies. All you have to do is have faith, step out, keep your eyes fixed on Him, and keep moving forward. He will take care of the rest and not let you down or fail you.

Don’t look to the right or the left at all those who try to distract you. Keep your eyes focused and fixed on Jesus alone. Don’t look to the wind and the waves and doubt as Peter did. But if you have a problem, go to Him. If you need help, ask Him and believe in faith that He will answer and do it.

And Peter answered Him, “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water.” He said, “Come.” So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and came to Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me.” Jesus immediately reached out His hand and took hold of him, saying to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” Matthew 14:28-30

Consider the remarkable thing about the Lord: if you start looking to the sides or at the storm around you and begin to sink, He will always be there to pick you up. He will gently lift and guide you in the right way because He is a loving and patient God, full of mercy, patience, and love. So have faith in Him. He is trustworthy, and nothing is impossible for Him.

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it, the people of old received their commendation. By faith, we understand that the universe was created by the word of God so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. Hebrews 11:1-3
