Nothing is Impossible for the Lord

How big is your Faith? God created the entire Universe with a “Word”! Do you believe this? Can you imagine, with a single word the Universe jumped into existence! Jesus also walked on water as if it were solid ground. There is nothing impossible for Him.

Because I believe this one thing, that nothing is impossible for Him, I know God will accomplish everything for you according to His perfect will. He can and will do what He has promised. He can rescue, heal, restore, rebuild, love, comfort, encourage, help, bind up, deliver, embolden, strengthen, enable, protect, shield, and so much more. The list is too long to write down all that He does for His children.

So are you keeping your eyes on Jesus? The Author and Perfecter of your Faith! He is already walking on top of the water. All you have to do is have faith and step out and keep your eyes fixed on Him. He will not let you down or fail.

Don’t look to the wind, the waves, or anything else. Don’t look to the right or the left. Keep your eyes focused and fixed on Jesus alone.

But the awesome thing about the Lord is, if you do start to look to the side and start to sink, He will always be right there to pick you up and gently lead you in the right way. He is a loving and patient Lord, full of mercy, compassion, and grace.

28 And Peter answered him, “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water.” 29 He said, “Come.” So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and came to Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, “Lord, save me.” 31 Jesus immediately reached out his hand and took hold of him, saying to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” Matthew 14:28-31

1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. 2 For by it the people of old received their commendation. 3 By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. Hebrews 11:1-3
