To the merciful and the upright our God will show mercy and grace. He will come and comfort the upright and the obedient, giving you strength, wisdom, understanding, and boldness to carry on! But the wicked will look at Him as cruel, for they know not the love and majesty of God.
He teaches and instructs the blameless in the right way, and gives you sight and understanding. He will teach His Word and train you on how to wage war in the spirit. His mighty hand of power is with the pure of heart, and will not fall when the enemy comes against. Though the struggle, the fight is fierce and violent, the Lord will not let you slip but you will stand firm against the attack.
I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. Psalm 121:1-3
So when the evil one comes against you and seeks to destroy you, the Lord will be with you. He will fight for you. Do not fear them that have no foundation, but depend on lies, wickedness, and deceit. The Lord will be your strength, He will be your sun and shield. The Lord will give you skills in the battle against them, that you will be able to defeat them.
Blessed be the LORD! For he has heard the voice of my pleas for mercy. The LORD is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.
The LORD is the strength of his people; he is the saving refuge of his anointed. Oh, save your people and bless your heritage! Be their shepherd and carry them forever. Psalm 27:6-9
He surrounds you with His armies and puts out His right hand against the enemy. He will put them low under His feet. Be not afraid and do not be anxious. The Lord is your God and you can trust the Lord in everything, for your God will triumph!
2 Samuel 22:26-37
26 With the merciful you show yourself merciful; with the blameless man you show yourself blameless; 27 with the purified you deal purely, and with the crooked you make yourself seem tortuous. 28 You save a humble people, but your eyes are on the haughty to bring them down.
29 For you are my lamp, O LORD, and my God lightens my darkness. 30 For by you I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall. 31 This God—his way is perfect; the word of the LORD proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him. 32 “For who is God, but the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God? 33 This God is my strong refuge and has made my way blameless.
34 He made my feet like the feet of a deer and set me secure on the heights. 35 He trains my hands for war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze. 36 You have given me the shield of your salvation, and your gentleness made me great. 37 You gave a wide place for my steps under me, and my feet did not slip;
