Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. Give thanks to the Lord of Heaven and Earth. Give thanks to your God, for He is ruler over all nations and sovereign overall. Give thanks to the Lord God Almighty, for He is worthy. Worthy of all thanksgiving and all praise, honor, and glory.
Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth; yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved. Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice, and let them say among the nations, “The Lord reigns!”
Let the sea roar, and all that fills it; let the field exult and everything in it! Then shall the trees of the forest sing for joy before the Lord, for He comes to judge the earth. Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His steadfast love endures forever! 1 Chronicles 16:29-34
Are you waiting for an answer to prayer? Give Him thanks because He will answer. Are you seeking His wisdom and understanding? Give thanks, for He promises to give it. Are you enduring hardship and struggle, wanting to be rescued and comforted? Give Him thanks, for your God is a God of comfort and deliverance. Do you need to be healed and restored? Give Him thanks because this is what He will do for His beloved children.
Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears us up; God is our salvation. Selah, Our God is a God of salvation, and to God, the Lord, belong deliverances from death. Psalm 68:19-20 Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. Psalm 100:4
In every situation and every circumstance, may it be hardship, difficulty, trial, or delight, give thanks to the Lord. Everything that comes your way, each test and moment of enjoyment, has been orchestration by Him and for Him. He has arranged it for His plan in your life. Both the good and bad have a great purpose, be assured, everything has a reason.
Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:13 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6
It is for your growth that He sends the rain. He shakes you with the storm for your strengthening. It is for endurance that He sends the drought, and for your refinement, He causes you to suffer. You are like a lump of clay in His hands. He has to push and stretch you into His chosen position. Because of this, it causes pain. But He must do it to craft you into a perfect work of art.
He has allowed both the good and bad to build you up in faith and strengthen you so that you may trust Him explicitly. As a result, you may bloom with confidence and blossom with boldness to go out and pour His love out on others. With the work of your hands and the words of your mouth, you will help others in need. You are His instrument to reach the hurting and lost.
Devote yourself to Him in everything. Devote yourself to prayer and to do His will. Do not worry or be anxious about anything but give it to the Lord. Keep an eternal perspective and a heavenly mindset. The Lord is in control. Everything that has happened has been for your good and according to His plan.
Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe. Hebrews 12:28 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Colossians 3:17
