What God Has Prepared

Be encouraged, for you have already been seated in the heavenly places by God. There is a reward waiting for you and glory unimaginable for your devoted service to Jesus. Day by day, as you strive to serve and obey the Lord, you are building up more treasure and glory. In His time, the Lord will be pleased to shower many blessings upon you according to His will and timing.

Though perhaps for many days, weeks, months, and even years you may be burdened with struggle. Desiring to be free of this painful world and sinful body. To be with the Lord, enjoying His marvelous glory, worshiping Him, and praising Him for all eternity.

I know you desire to be clothed in His righteousness and glorified body. To truly be free from the bonds of sin and pain. But God has a purpose and plan for every ounce of pain and struggle. Yet, for now, you remain. God is still working, moving, molding, shaping, and directing your steps. Not just for you, but for so many others that your life is intended to touch for His glory and honor.

Just think, He has always known you would be right here, right now. He has planned out your life and prepared great things for you to do for His Kingdom, since before the foundation of the world. You have never been abandoned. Never have you been truly alone. You have never been forgotten or forsaken. He will never let you go.

But He has loved you with an eternal love that goes beyond all comprehension. He lovingly provides everything you need, both the good and the bad. All for your good and benefit. He will continue to shower blessings upon you here and above at just the right moment.

He is with you, close by you, caring for you, in every way, and in every moment. He will do so until your work on earth is done. Any other voice that says otherwise is a liar. Any other word that says He is not there for you is not from God. Do not listen to discouragement. It is from the devil.

So face your fears, and grasp onto the Lord Jesus Christ with all your might. His promises are true and He will never fail to accomplish them. Run to Him, serve Him, obey Him, live for Him, and have faith in Him with every fiber of your being. Then see what great, amazing, and awesome things He will do through you. All to His glory, honor, and praise.

For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this tent we groan, longing to put on our heavenly dwelling, if indeed by putting it on we may not be found naked. For while we are still in this tent, we groan, being burdened—not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.

He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee. So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord. So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please Him.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil. 2 Corinthians 5:1-10
