In His Hands

When everything has been accounted, and the records are full, it will be what you have done for the Lord by faith, through the power of the Spirit of the Lord, that will count toward the reward you will receive.

Everything that you have done that is good in His sight was given to you by His hand. Always give credit where credit is due. The Lord deserves the credit to you, too, since you struggled to obey His Word. But remember, the only reason you were able to navigate the minefield of this wicked generation and all the forces of darkness was because of His guidance and your willingness to follow and obey His every nudge of direction.

There was a reason why many times, the terrain was pitch black, and the valleys that you had to walk were unclear and hard to see. God was actually protecting you from the fearful things around you that would have sapped the strength from your bones. But the Lord is good, and He is merciful to hide these things by placing blinders on your eyes and guiding you gently by the hand through to the end.

Be encouraged and established firmly in the Lord your God. For He has said, “I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” It was by your faith and trust in Him and by His strong hand that you accomplished everything. But even if you have not arrived yet, you can be sure that He will guide you through safely to the end with no doubt or worry. He is with you, will protect you, and will reward you for your steadfast faith.

Do you remember that old hymn?
“Trust and obey, for there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey
… Not a shadow can rise, not a cloud in the skies
But His smile quickly drives it away
Not a doubt or a fear, not a sigh or a tear
Can abide while we trust and obey.”

Trust the Lord because He never fails and never leaves any of His precious children behind.

God bless you
