Message Of Hope

Have you ever been so excited about something you wanted to share with everyone? Perhaps it could bring them joy and happiness for the rest of their lives or change their lives forever. Maybe it could convert someone from poverty to inner prosperity, giving them a new look at life. Or on the other hand, someone could be in horrible danger, threatening their life or livelihood. It could be a disease that may kill them. But unfortunately, they have been ignoring the warning signs and refusing to see the danger.

It could be that they are on a dangerous road in the lifestyle that they are living, abusing substances, destructive behavior, or a million different scenarios that lead a person down a road that reaps a life of destruction or even leads to death. You may know what I am talking about. You may know others you care about that are going through something similar, or you are that person headed in the wrong direction. I hope and pray you will listen carefully to what I have to say.

I have a message for you, a warning so vital to your survival, you have no idea. It is all these things. It is a message of joy and hope if you are willing to accept it. But first of all, it is about great danger and a warning that you must not reject because it is the truth of your situation, your condition. It is about your eternity and how you can obtain the promise of Heaven when you die.

Did you know that you have a severe problem? It is not a physical disease but a spiritual disease called sin. There is a God who has created all things, including you and me. He even created you for this reason. But you have a sinful nature that causes you to do and behave in a way that is contrary to what He wants you to do. So, unfortunately, if you disobey His Law, you must pay the consequences.

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the Kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

Everyone knows lying, stealing, anger, greed, adultery, and killing are wrong. It is evident when you become offended when someone else commits one of these sins against you. It stirs up something inside of your soul that proves this point. It is hard to hear that you are a sinner, but it is so important to look at yourself with honesty.

Anger
Jesus said, “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’ But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire.” Matthew 5:21-22

Lust
Jesus said, “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” “If your right-hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body goes into hell.” Matthew 5:27-28,30

No one can avoid these facts. No one is innocent, for we all are sinners; we have all broken God’s Commandments. In His eyes, we have become a criminal because of sin and are headed to a place of judgment one day called Hell.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23

As it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together, they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.” “Their throat is an open grave; they use their tongues to deceive.” “The venom of asps is under their lips.” “Their mouth is full of curses and bitterness.” “Their feet are swift to shed blood; in their paths are ruin and misery, and the way of peace they have not known.” “There is no fear of God before their eyes.” Romans 3:10-18

But now, onto the good news! God loved you so much that He made a way of escape from that prison He calls Hell. He did this even before you were there. He provided a sacrificial lamb to take your punishment for you. Jesus Christ is that perfect and spotless sacrifice. He lived a perfect life without sin. He suffered on the cross, taking your punishment; He received the Wrath of God instead of you. He died and rose again three days later. Therefore, Jesus defeated both sin and death so that you may live.

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.” John 3:16-21

The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, 1 Timothy 1:15

Be honest with yourself and God. You have broken God’s Commands and Laws. You can find them in Exodus 20. He offers you mercy, grace, and forgiveness. Gifts you do not deserve, but He offers them to you anyway. But you must turn your heart away from your sinful ways in repentance. To no longer seek your sinful desires but to obey, trust, and follow Jesus. Cry out to Jesus with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. He promises to hear you, answer, and forgive if you seek Him with all your heart.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the LORD, Jeremiah 29:11-14

I pray that God will open your eyes to the danger of Hell. Sin leads to death. It is the wages God owes to you. But if you turn to Him, believe in Jesus Christ, repent, and follow Him for the rest of your life. Then, you will build up treasure in Heaven.

Consider this message I have written to you this day. A life of sin is only temporary; it will not last long. But your eternal destination will be final, and what you do here on earth will determine where you will go and the rewards or punishment you will receive.

The disease of sin you have is real, and you have the decision to make. Either you will choose Jesus Christ and life, or you will choose your own path and death. Please choose carefully.
