The Most High Rules

At the end of this life, nothing but God matters. Nothing in Heaven or on Earth is significant except for what is done for the Lord. There is no object you could possess or knowledge you could obtain that you can take from this world—nothing but the wisdom and gift of God. No task or desire of a man trumps the divine authority of the Father and the sovereign rule of His son Jesus Christ.

No job is more critical, no activity more essential, no position more influential, and no obligation more crucial than for a man or woman to be entirely submissive to the Lord God in every aspect of their life. Did you know God commands all men to turn from their sins and bow before His Son Jesus in reverence and obedience so they may have life after death? As a matter of fact, He has been holding out His hands all your life, that you may come and be saved to follow and obey Him.

I spread out my hands all the day to a rebellious people who walk in a way that is not good, following their own devices. Isaiah 65:2 As it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one; Romans 3:10

Jesus is offering you salvation and life. He is offering you forgiveness for all the crimes and rebellious lawbreaking you committed against Him throughout your life. How long will you refuse to come to Him? How long will you shake your puny fist against the King of Glory? He who gave you life and holds your eternity in His hand.

Let’s be honest with ourselves: we have all lied, stolen, rebelled against our parents, committed hatred or lust, which in His eyes is murder and adultery, and many more crimes against His Law, the Ten Commandments. If you like it or not, Jesus is the Judge of all mankind. He will find you guilty when you stand before Him at your judgment. He will sentence you to His prison called hell if you do not forsake your ways and follow Jesus. If you do not repent, ask Him for forgiveness beforehand.

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

Through Jesus Christ and His perfect sacrifice, death, burial, and resurrection, He has made a way for your sins to be forgiven. But you must realize that you have broken His Law, humble yourself, receive and accept His gift. You must confess your sins, repent, and turn away from your life of sin. Jesus offers eternal life and forgiveness through the giving of the Holy Spirit if you are willing to accept Him.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

In this way, you will turn your back on all other things in this world and work to build up treasure in Heaven instead of on Earth. For example, following Jesus would be like a loyal dog pursuing his master wherever he goes, without question or hesitation. Nothing else is important to you except the Lord and His will for your life.

May the Lord put His hand upon you and press you so powerfully that you will be like King Nebuchadnezzar, for he refused to honor God for what he had accomplished. The Lord humbled him, giving him a mind of an animal. After seven years, he lifted his eyes to the heavens and gave praise, blessing, and honor to the One who lives forever and ever. Who rules and reigns over all creation.

You may acknowledge God as who He really is, or you may not. But it may be the difference between life and death. It may be the determining choice between God granting you eternal life or punishment for all the sins you have committed. Please humble yourself today and turn to Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins today and receive life everlasting from the God who loves you.

At the end of the days, I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored Him who lives forever, for His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom endures from generation to generation; all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and He does according to His will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay His hand or say to Him, “What have you done?” Daniel 4:34-35
