The Lord calls out to all mankind, every nation, tribe, tongue, and to you to come, seek, listen, and obey. To receive the gift He has for you. He is patient and compassionate, even to those who are rebellious and headstrong. Who wander in darkness and grope around in the gloom of this world system. You may not know it, but Jesus holds His hands out to you all day long. He is grieved in His heart because of your sinful ways. He waits for you to humble yourself, turn from sin in repentance, and follow Him; He desires to heal, restore, and save you.
I was ready to be sought by those who did not ask for me; I was ready to be found by those who did not seek me. I said, “Here I am, here I am,” to a nation that was not called by my name. I spread out my hands all the day to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, following their own devices; Isaiah 65:1-2
God tells you to “Seek the Lord while He may be found.”
Every day you wake and draw breath is another day that the Lord has given you. It is another chance to hear His voice, His call to repentance. Turn from your lies, thefts, hatred, and disobedience to His Law, and listen to what He has for you. Open your heart and call upon the Lord, asking for forgiveness. Humble yourself, pray, and He will hear and answer.
Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:12-13 Call to me, and I will answer you and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. Jeremiah 33:3
He has been waiting all this time that you have wandered away. How much longer are you going to risk your life, your soul? Are you willing to sacrifice your eternal destiny for a little pleasure, for sin that brings great consequences, for your wayward ways that lead to nothing good? Fall on your knees before the Lord today and cry out for His mercy. He will see, hear from Heaven, and reach down and put His hand upon you. He will fill you with His Spirit. He will forgive, cleanse, heal, and restore, covering you with His grace and mercy.
Even though you do not deserve it because none of us do, He loves you. Though you could never earn it or repay Him, He offers it for free. But if you do seek Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, He will save you. You have to be the one who chooses to turn away from wrongdoing in humility. You have to turn from sin, turn to Him, and He will do the rest.
I give thanks to God because some will read this and repent. Someone will feel the Holy Spirit pressing on their soul, turn from their sins, and receive forgiveness and eternal life through Jesus Christ the Lord. Give thanks to Him for the beautiful blessing and gift He has given you. Because He loves you, He will hold you and will never leave or forsake you. I encourage you to read the book of John and seek the truth. Seek Jesus because He is the only way to have forgiveness, healing, and eternal life in Heaven.
Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and perform your vows to the Most High, and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.” Psalm 50:14-15
