The Lord God speaks, and there is no mistake. He loves, and there is no end, for His love for you is everlasting. He will not hide from you forever, nor will He forsake you at any time. But as the heavens are high and the ocean is deep, so is the Lord’s wisdom and love higher than ours, and His plan is much more profound than we could imagine.
Listen to advice and accept instruction that you may gain wisdom in the future. Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand. What is desired in a man is steadfast love, and a poor man is better than a liar. The fear of the LORD leads to life, and whoever has it rests satisfied; he will not be visited by harm. Proverbs 19:20-23
God will take you by the hand. He will lead you to places you could not have imagined when you follow Him by faith. However, you may have to endure many tests and trials. You may have to go through what seems to be the valley of the shadow of death. Be assured He will be with you. He will light your path. He will keep you safe and do things within your soul that could never have happened otherwise.
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:1-4
He will test you because He loves you. He sends you through many trials for a purpose so that He may purify your heart and soul through the fires of affliction. As gold is tested and made pure, and silver is refined in the flame seven times. You also must be tried and purified to shine His image. So your heart, mind, and soul may operate like Him that you may be truly a son or daughter of God. Fully prepared for His plan ahead and completely ready to be an effective servant of Jesus Christ the Lord.
“O afflicted one, storm-tossed and not comforted, behold, I will set your stones in antimony and lay your foundations with sapphires. I will make your pinnacles of agate, your gates of carbuncles, and all your wall of precious stones. All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children. In righteousness, you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you. Isaiah 54:11-14
