Seek The Lord Continually

“Seek the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.” Proverbs 3:5-8

When you are in need, cry out to Him day and night with your requests, petitions, prayers, and supplications. Cry out with a pure heart and with righteous intentions. Seek Him with all your heart, and You will find him. He will listen to the righteous and your request. God knows your sorrows; He hears your cry, will listen, and will answer.

God will come through at the right time and with the correct response to help you grow in ways you couldn’t imagine before. It might take longer than you wanted, but His great work takes time. So many of us have been injured so deeply that God has to go to great lengths to bring us to a point of healing. But He is faithful, merciful, loving, and gracious to complete what He has started. Do not fear. Those who seek the Lord out will find Him, and He will heal them. He will bind up the broken and wounded. These are those He loves. Come to Him.

And He told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart. He said, “In a certain city, there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected man. And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’ For a while, he refused, but afterward, he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will give her justice so that she will not beat me down by her continual coming.’” 

And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge says. And will not God give justice to His elect, who cry to Him day and night? Will He delay long over them? I tell you, He will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on earth?” Luke 18:1-8
