“For we are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!”
It is now time to boldly go and proclaim the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. To suffer well for the sake of the Lord, for the souls in this world are wandering around in the darkness. It is your right to suffer for Christ. Yes, it is your privilege, honor, and joy to be abused, if need be, in the same way your Lord was mistreated.
You may suffer if you speak the truth of the Gospel, the truth that saves the dead to life. But do not be dismayed because you undergo persecution, for God has a purpose for that, too. You will be rewarded for your suffering and hard work in bringing lost souls to Jesus.
The lost need to see the light of the world; they need to receive the bread of life. They need Jesus; He is the gate to Heaven, the resurrection, the true vine, the good shepherd, the way, the truth, and the life. There is no other way to the Father, no other way to salvation, to escape the judgment to come then through Him.
There is no higher mission, no greater cause, and no mightier reason to live than to seek to save the lost, to suffer for the sake of the cross. Remember, it is not the mighty who succeed; it is not those who are popular or robust who conquer. But those who fully lean on Jesus triumph using His strength and boldness. Those who walk in the power of the Holy Spirit will take part in saving souls from Hell.
Again, I saw that under the sun, the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to the intelligent, nor favor to those with knowledge, but time and chance happen to them all. Ecclesiastes 9:11
But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
Now is the time to guard against the devil’s schemes. Now is the time to fight against him in much prayer and in Jesus’ name for the souls of those heading to Hell, for those who are still following their own ways instead of turning to Him.
God has given you understanding, wisdom, love, and compassion for the lost. Do not think you have no ability or skill to accomplish God’s work. God has given you everything you need and will provide more when you ask. So step out in faith and do the hard work for His kingdom.
“More souls have been won for Christ by preachers who did what little they could than by renowned evangelists.” Richard Wurmbrand
“If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our dead bodies. And if they perish, let them perish with our arms wrapped about their knees, imploring them to stay. If Hell must be filled, let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go unwarned and unprayed for.” Charles Spurgeon
The devil is out to seek and destroy. So be of a single mind and a steadfast heart with all vigilance. Don’t listen to the lies, doubts, or ridicule of the wicked one. But forge forward into battle with the Spirit within and the Armor of the Lord to protect you. Jesus will surely help you. He has undoubtedly overcome the enemy already.
For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power, love, and self-control. Therefore, do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, nor of me, His prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God, who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of His own purpose and grace, which He gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began,
and which now has been manifested through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, for which I was appointed a preacher and apostle and teacher, which is why I suffer as I do. But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that He is able to guard until that day what has been entrusted to me. 2 Timothy 1:7-12
