In these last days, the Devil and his demons are out in force to draw the entire world into his deception. Especially those God has called to live in His righteousness. To lie to you in every situation, to deceive you into believing what is false, to kill the purpose of God for your life ultimately, and most importantly, to stop you from loving one another. But he can’t win and will not prevent us from loving each other. Remember that the love of the Lord is in you no matter how hard things get. So please don’t go anywhere without it.
If you are a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ, you may fall, but you will rise stronger than before. A child of God will succeed in the end. Praise God, for He overcomes the works of the evil one, and His love breaks down walls built to hold you back.
We all fall in many ways. I know I do. We all stumble, but when we do, we realize that the enemy has been working hard to take our eyes off the Lord. Strengthen yourself in the words of the Lord, repent, trust Him, and turn and do what is right. Rebuke the Devil, driving him from your sight, and he will flee. Remember who our strength comes from.
To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul. O my God, in you I trust; let me not be put to shame; let not my enemies exult over me. Indeed, none who wait for you shall be put to shame; they shall be ashamed who are wantonly treacherous. Psalm 25:1-3
In these evil days, it is more important than anything else to seek Jesus in everything, to keep close to the Lord, in the Word, seek the Father’s heart, and listen to what comes from the Spirit of the Lord. In comparison, all the distractions and things of this world are of little importance. Still, humility, love, and forgiveness will overcome in Jesus’ name. So do the things that please the Lord.
Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time, He may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary, the Devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. To Him be the dominion forever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 5:6-11
Therefore, keep in mind to focus on love daily. It can be hard sometimes, but it is worth it. It is the one thing that will overcome the Devil’s plans. If someone hurts you, love them, forgive them, and you will defeat the one who planned evil against you. Or if you fail to love, pick yourself up, change, and love instead. God will always bless those who choose love.
If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains but do not have love, I am nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:1-2
I choose to love. I choose to forgive. I choose humility; I choose to do what the Lord wants of me, even when I cannot do it perfectly and fail. I get up and move forward to be better, gradually, day by day, with the help of the Spirit. May the Lord give us all the ability to improve in Jesus Christ. To resist the Devil, to love, forgive, and keep our eyes on the one who is the Author and perfector of our faith, Jesus.
Looking to Jesus, the founder, and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2
