Praise God, though the struggles never seem to end, our hope is in Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. He is the one who started us on this path to freedom and glory in God the Father, and He will be the one who brings it all to pass according to His will and the many promises He has made. Remember what the Apostle John said in 1 John 5:4, “For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world.”
Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of him. By this, we know that we love the children of God when we love God and obey His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:1-5
If you love God and Jesus and are dedicated by faith to doing His will and following Him no matter what happens, you will make it through. You will forge through all the hardships and trials God allows to come your way because He promises to be at your side and fight for you. At times, you may think that you will never be able to get up after the devil pummels you to the ground, and he often does, but the righteous will always rise, stronger than before.
He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might, He increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted, but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:29-31
Remember Paul? He was a faithful servant to Jesus, called, chosen, and severely persecuted because of his persistent preaching and teaching that Jesus was the way to salvation and the forgiveness of sins. He endured great trials and suffering, even to the point of being stoned. But God raised him up because when it is not your time to go, nothing will take the hand of God off of your life, and not even the most potent principality or demon can kill you.
But Jews came from Antioch and Iconium, and having persuaded the crowds, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing that he was dead. But when the disciples gathered about him, he rose up and entered the city. Acts 14:19-20
Never forget who is on your side, the Almighty God who created the Universe with a word. Keep your confidence in Him and Him alone. He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. He is the one who sees your life in its entirety, and He will not let you be defeated, but through everything that comes your way, remember you are already a conqueror and victorious in Jesus’ name.
Praise God and give Him glory, honor, and worship for everything He has done, and keep your eyes upon Jesus, be grateful for everything He has done so far, and look forward to everything He will do in the future. He who has started a good work through your life will carry it out to completion.
Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended, but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Therefore, let us, as many as are mature, have this mind, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you. Philippines 3:13-15
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21
